 A Report 

Continuing to partner with ICG for campus selections, this year too TCS visited us. Selecting 40 students under the Campus Recruitment Program conducted for the UG final year students on August 25th 2014, for the TCS BPO and KPO. The campus drive was organised by the placement cell for the students. Mr. Devesh Pareek, Mr. Ritesh, Ms. Archana (IIMET Alumnae) along with 4 other campus team members, was present to conduct the drive in the college. The Drive began at 9:45am in the AV Hall, where approximately 220 students were present during the pre-placement talk. The Placement Officer welcomed the recruitment team. The Pre-placement talk was given by Mr. Devesh. In his talk he addressed the students on TCS and its business. He also shared about the work culture, the growth pattern and various other growth prospects in TCS. He also explained the opportunities for higher studies for students after joining. During the pre-placement session the students enquired about various matters for eg: the job locations, training, working in international locations, pay packages etc. After the Talk, the students participated in the campus recruitment process. At the end of all the rounds, TCS raised offers to 36 students for BPO and 4 students for KPO, at Gandhinagar / Baroda location. The drive concluded at 9:00 in the evening. ICG congratulates all the selected students.
