About Cvent is a privately held software-as-a-service (SaaS) company that specializes in meetings, events, and hospitality management technology. The company offers web-based software for meeting site selection, online event registration, event management, email marketing, and web surveys. The company is owned by private equity firm Vista Equity Partners and has collected over $500 million in cash in 2018 revenues.
Cvent was founded in September 1999 by Reggie Aggarwal. That same year it received $17 million in venture capital and grew its staff to 125 employees.
In July 2000, Cvent introduced its first SaaS product, a web-based tool for event planners to manage invitations and collect registration fees. In 2006, it introduced a product for conducting online surveys, which was followed by the introduction of the Cvent Supplier Network two years later. The Supplier Network is a free, online marketing place that connects meeting planners with venues and services. In 2009, the company began offering professional services.
An app development tool, CrowdTorch, was launched in 2009. Cvent also produces a Destination Guide, a free, online; 8,000-page travel guide designed for meeting planners with information about 800 different destinations.

Associate, Market Research This is a secondary research role which incorporates the following responsibilities:

Position Duties:
• Research leads for regional Sales and Marketing teams and add/enhance information in the Cvent Sourcing Database (across product lines)
• Ensure accuracy and comprehensiveness of data
• Gather Industry information like latest news & trends, competitor information like product features, database health, etc.
• For this, conduct Secondary Research on sources like Google, Organization Websites, Industry Publications & Journals, LinkedIn, etc.
• Complete ownership of assigned work, meet daily productivity & utilization targets and quality benchmarks
• Accurate and timely reporting of all self-productivity and project stats in the pre-described format
• Coordinating with internal teams/stakeholders to ensure completion of tasks
• Focus on self-development and continually update knowledge and understanding about MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences & Exhibitions) Domain

Candidate Requirements:
• Full Time Graduate in any stream
• 0 - 1 years of work experience is desired; however, freshers with requisite skills may also apply
• Applicant should have a strong academic background
• Applicant should have Internet Research Acumen
• Applicant should have excellent spoken and written English
• Ability to liaise with cross-functional teams like sales and sales operations
• Good interpersonal skills and high attention to detail
• Positive attitude and out of the box thinker
Shift Timing 9 AM – 6 PM (No cabs will be provided)
Training and Service Agreement Service agreement of 18 months against a breach clause of 2.8 lacs

COMPENSATION 3.5 Lacs CTC with benefits
