Workshop on Analytics and Finance

A workshop on Business Analytics & Finance was organized by the Training & Placement Cell for the students of BBA& B.Com Final year, from 30 July – 08 August 2016.
The workshop was conducted by a Mumbai based organization, Imarticus. The main speakers of the workshop were Mr. Harish Thakker & Mr. Dharmesh Adhikari.
Mr. Thakkar apprised the students with the avenues available in finance and analytics sector. The students were also informed about the job opportunities in top multinational companies like PWC, Campgemini, Goldman Sachs etc. He also briefed students about the fundamentals of investment banking. He informed the students that in the future the opportunities in the field of analytics will be very high on demand.
The workshop was conducted over a span of 10 days with an objective of making students accustom with the basic & upcoming techniques in the field of business analytics & finance.
The students who successfully completed the training programme were awarded certificates from Imarticus in collaboration with The IIS Univesity.
