Seminar on “Career after Graduation”

A guest lecture was organized by the Training & Placement Cell of IISU for all the undergraduate students on 01 August 2017 at the IISU campus. The topic of the guest lecture was “Career after Graduation”.

The speaker for the session was Mr. Kapil Dixit, M.D. TIME Jaipur. Mr. Dixit started his session with a motivational video which was about the young women achievers. Mr. Dixit spoke about the prevalent career choices in India like banking, civil services, government jobs & corporate sector jobs. He enlighten the students about the different entrance exams which are required to be taken in order to apply for the various jobs and the topics covered in these exams.

Mr. Dixit also discussed about the pattern of questions of IBPS (banking entrance) & CAT entrance tests. He asked the students to start the preparation from their 2nd year of graduation, in order to clear these tests. He also talked in detail about the management entrances like CAT, MAT & GMAT which most of the students take along with their graduation. The students were informed the changing pattern of the CAT & other management entrance tests.

The session was well appreciated by the students. In the end of the session, the students raised their queries to the speaker.

The seminar was attended by around 150 students from undergraduate programmes.
